Growing up, I was the rough guy from the wrong neighborhood who couldn’t catch a break. Posy was the pampered girl I tried to impress. But all she gave me was a single kiss before I had to skip town.
Now I’m back, and the tables are turned. Posy runs a struggling pie shop. I’m the VP of a secretive billion-dollar security company.
Not that I can tell her.
There’s a murderer on the loose in New York, and he seems to spend a lot of time at Posy’s shop. It’s my job to identify him before he can harm a hair on her pretty head.
Going undercover as Posy’s new barista wasn’t my idea. I don’t even drink coffee. But now I have to call her «boss,» and do everything the curvy perfectionist asks of me. I’d forgotten how much we infuriate each other, and that she somehow fills me with both irritation and desire in the same breath.
There’s nobody more skilled at stealth ops than me. I can bring this killer down. Right after I take a cold shower. And just as soon I figure out how to make a skinny peppermint latte with milk poured in the shape of a kitten…

Earlier, I’d spotted him even before he came into the bar. I watched him get out of that cab and then check the time. I saw him look toward the pub, weighing his choices.  
My heart had thumped along with only one word. Please.
Fine—not my heart. It was other parts of me who were doing all the begging. Silently, of course. Speaking up seems impossible right now. What if he laughs in my face? Or—this might even be worse—what if he says yes? And then we get naked and I can’t satisfy him? 
You’re not very adventurous, Spalding said. You’re not very good in bed.
My ex is the only person I’ve ever been naked with. And thanks to him, I’m afraid to try again with someone else. If another man tells me I’m no fun, I don’t know how I’d come back from that.
On the other hand, if I don’t get out of this rut, then Spalding wins. Maybe I sound melodramatic, but I don’t want to die before I experience terrific sex. 
It’s really no surprise that my drink disappears quickly. 
«Look, you don’t have to tell me what’s on your mind,» Gunnar muses, and I realize I’ve been silent for some time. «But something has you deep in thought.»
«Rhubarb,» I blurt. «It’s, uh, something I’ve used in springtime pies. But, um, I wonder if I could do better than strawberry rhubarb—that’s been done, you know?» 
His smile widens. «Is that an occupational hazard? You can’t eat or drink anything without reconfiguring it in your mind?»
«Yep.» I wave at the bartender. «Another round of these if you wouldn’t mind.»
«Are you trying to get me drunk?» Gunnar asks. «Please say yes.»
My pulse picks up, because it’s hard to miss the innuendo there. But I dodge the question, because I’ve never been brave. «As if two cocktails and a beer would put you under my spell.»
«Oh, I’m easy,» Gunnar says, giving me an intentionally sleazy wink. «Besides, your pies have already made me slow and agreeable. That key lime and Thai basil pie was amazing. That stuff is dangerous.»
«You like my key lime and Thai basil?» I ask, hearing pleasure in my own voice. It never gets old when people tell you how much they like the product. «And I guess it figures that you’d be one of those.»
«One of what?»
«You have an adventurous palate.» I prop an elbow on the bar and try to explain. «People fall into two distinct groups. There’re the ones who always order the weird flavors. And the Dutch apple pie crew, who always stick to the basics. They don’t cross over. It’s something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.»
Thanks to Spalding. He basically accused me of being a Dutch apple pie in bed. The whole reason I’m reading my sister’s romance novels is to try to learn what the other flavors are like. 
«Huh,» Gunnar says. «So, you can just guess which other pies I’ve tried?»
«Sure, I can. Did you try the pine nut and salted honey?»
«Oh, hell yes.»
My smile grows wide. «How about the matcha green tea tart?»
«Well,» he shakes his head, «I gotta say I haven’t quite gone there yet. But I did enjoy the vinegar date pie.»
«Ah! And the ginger mango cream, right?» I press. 
«Yeah. Does that make me predictable?»
«A little bit,» I say, enjoying myself immensely. «Have you started doing that thing where you try to guess each customer’s guilty pleasure?»
He laughs. «Get out of my head. It’s my new favorite game.»
«How’s your accuracy?»
«Pretty bad. I started off trying to use clothing as a clue. I expected somebody wearing a navy blue suit and boring shoes to order the apple crumble. But that theory bombed. And then I tried to assume that people in workout clothes wouldn’t pick something sugary. But they totally do.»
«You have to look deep inside their souls,» I tease. «If you look at the shell of a person, you’ll never get their pie order right. In fact, you have to look at their auras.»
He snorts. «What color is my aura?»
«Indigo, like tattoo ink. But with a streak of red because you’re contrary.»
He narrows his eyes. «You’re just fucking with me now.»
«Maybe I am.» 
«Okay, lady. But I have an issue with something you said earlier.»
«What?»
«Guilty pleasures.» He lays a hand over my wrist. «I don’t believe in those. I don’t think pleasure should make you feel guilty.»
«Oh.» He’s barely touching me, but goosebumps run up my arm anyway. Now would be a great time to make a joke and diffuse all the tension I’m suddenly feeling. But I feel too tongue-tied to pull it off.
Gunnar removes his hand, which is a disappointment. But the next thing he says stuns me back into goosebump territory. «You know, I always had it bad for you.»
«You … what?» I ask stupidly.
«Back when we were tending bar, I had a big crush on you. And sometimes I thought you were on the same page. I usually have good instincts about these things. But not that time. You ended up with Mr. Pretty Boy Preppy instead.»
My heart is thumping wildly now, and I take a sip of my cocktail to steady my nerves. The truth is that I don’t really trust this little revelation. We used to annoy each other, for one thing. But maybe that didn’t matter to Gunnar’s libido. He was a horny college boy. He probably had it bad for all the girls. 
Still. «What if I’m the one who has terrible instincts? Did you ever think of that? And did you miss the part where I divorced Mr. Preppy?»
«Mmm,» he says thoughtfully. «I suppose that might explain a few things.»
«You’re the one who left, anyway.» 
His eyes narrow. «Do you really think if I’d stuck around, things would have turned out differently? I spent three months giving you the fuck-me eyes, Paxton. But you didn’t take me up on it.»
Oh mother of God. His gaze is turning hot, and I think it might incinerate me. And then I remember why we never hooked up in the first place.

Young Thug recently confirmed the release date for the sequel to his 2018 YSL compilation album, Slime Language. After announcing that Slime Language 2 is on the way three days ago, Thugger has provided more details on the project. «Slime Language 2 dropping on Black Friday! 11.27.2020», wrote young SEX.

The YSL boss first announced Slime Language 2 towards the end of July this year. He tweeted that the project would be dropping on 16th of August, but it failed to arrive on that day. The first installment of the Slime Language series was released in August 2018. The album featured several YSL artists like Gunna, Duke, HiDoraah, Dolly, and Tracy T, Lil Keed, Nechie and other artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Jacquees, and more.

Thugger took to Instagram Stories to offer a behind-the-scenes look at the operations, where he zoomed in on a whiteboard while everyone around him talked about «dropping» and «Black Friday.» He asks for the release date again, to which someone confirms with «Black Friday,» and they continue to talk about what could happen after.

Slime Language 1 dropped in August 2018 and featured YSL signees Lil Duke, Gunna, Strick, Dolly, HiDoraah and Karlae, along with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Keed, Nechie, Lil Baby and Jacquees. Young Thug followed up the compilation album with his On the Rvn EP a month later, then his debut studio album So Much Fun on August 2019. The latter marks his last solo release as of writing, dropping the collaborative Slime & B mixtape with Chris Brown this May 2020.

Back in July, Thug hinted that Slime Language 2 would drop on his birthday, Aug. 16. But the tweet was quickly deleted.

The original compilation was released in August 2018 and featured Young Stoner Life Records artists including Gunna, Duke, HiDoraah, Dolly, and Tracy T, along with appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Jacquees, and more.

It’s tempting to say that it’s been a while since we heard from Young Thug, but in reality, he delivered a full studio album in September 2019’s So Much Fun. To make things even more interesting, he also promised the release of his new album Punk at some point, though news on that particular project has ground to a halt. In any case, that’s not to say that Thugger is taking a complete leave of absence. He’s actually be putting in work on the upcoming Slime Language 2, a follow-up to the 2018 YSL compilation project.

And while the project has been plagued by red herring release dates in the past, only to be delayed in the eleventh hour, it would appear that Young Thug is finally looking to share Slime Language 2 to the world. In a recent video clip from his IG story, Thugger provides a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the YSL boardroom, during a meeting seemingly focused on the upcoming compilation drop. In the clip, Thug focuses on a white-board while muttering «Black Friday.» Upon asking for confirmation as to when it will drop, Thugger appears to receive confirmation that Black Friday is indeed the intended date.

While some fans might be slightly distraught that Thug’s next release won’t be the long-awaited Punk after all, it should certainly be interesting to see what the YSL label has been up to. And based on what we can make out in this clip, Slime Language 2 may very well be landing on November 27th

On his Instagram story, he was behind the camera showing fans a whiteboard with a working tracklist and album notes. Around him, fellow rappers and musicians were talking about a drop on Black Friday. As they are talking, Thug chimes in to reaffirm the date, asking them when the drop is to which they respond, «Black Friday.» The retail holiday is set to fall on November 27 this year; hopefully, Thug keeps his word and brings fans Slime Language 2 at the end of next month.

Juicy J returns to our pages today as he releases his new single ‘Load It Up’ which features fellow Memphis native NLE Choppa. The song serves as the second official single from Juicy’s forthcoming The Hustle Continues album. The album was originally set to be released on October 14th but has suffered a slight push back. It will now be released on November 27th with support from eOne.

The album is set to come with a star studded guest list — names such as Megan Thee Stallion, Young Dolph, ASAP Rocky, Lil Baby, Ty Dolla Sign and 2 Chainz will appear on it. ‘Load It Up’ follows the first single ‘Gah Damn High’ which featured Wiz Khalifa and saw the Three 6 Mafia frontman call on Lex Luger for the production. This time around Juicy J handles things himself, with a little help from Internet Money.

After 30 years in the music industry, Juicy J is happier than ever. The legendary emcee and anchor of the rap group Three 6 Mafia is still going, celebrating the imminent release of his fifth studio album, The Hustle Continues, which features a slew of cameos from younger artists working within an industry that he shaped: Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Young Dolph, and more. He is also a shrewd businessman, with investments in Core Hydration, cannabis company Asterisk*, and Epic Games (maker of Fortnite). But perhaps his greatest personal achievement is becoming a doting husband and father, an experience he calls life-changing. «It’s great, man. It’s the best feeling in the world,» he tells MTV News. «But I ain’t gonna lie to you… it’s real-life shit. It ain’t no studio.»

His sojourns with Three 6 Mafia solidified the rapper as a hip-hop icon. The Memphis group made history in 2006 when they became the first rap act to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song for Hustle & Flow’s «It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp.» That recognition and acclaim garnered the crew significant attention and opportunity; Juicy J used the newfound momentum to continue pursuing a highly successful solo career.

Juicy J has announced his forthcoming album The Hustle Continues, set to drop October 14 via eOne.

Executive produced by the Three 6 Mafia legend himself, The Hustle Continues marks his first independent release since 2009’s Hustle Till I Die. The album will feature some of the biggest names in hip-hop including Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, NLE Choppa, Young Dolph, Key Glock, Logic, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Conway The Machine, Ty Dolla $ign, Rico Nasty, Jay Rock, Lord Infamous and Project Pat.

To celebrate the announcement, J shared an accompanying music video for the album’s lead single «GAH DAMN HIGH» with Wiz Khalifa. The visual is helmed by Joe Weil, and sees the everyday quarantine life of J in a comedic reality TV-styled production.

At the end of the first season we left Mando and the child when the two left the planet Nevarro, while Cara and Greef stayed on it. Moff Gideon has placed himself as the villain of the series, who at the end of season 1 not only survived the crash from the TIE fighter, but also turned out to be the bearer of the dark sword. We already saw this legendary weapon of the Mandalorians in the animated Star Wars series. We’ll see him again in season 2.

How many episodes season 2 of «The Mandalorian» will have is not known at this point in time. The number will probably be based on the first season — this had eight episodes. We suspect that season 2 will be between 6 and 12 episodes.

Fans of the series could breathe a sigh of relief: Fortunately, filming for the second season could already be completed before the studios’ production stops in March. So the start of «The Mandalorian» didn’t have to be postponed.

On Friday, October 30, 2020, the story of the Mandalorian and his foundling finally continued — this time it even appeared on Disney + for German and US viewers at the same time.

New episodes are to appear every week so that fans of the series can look forward to another piece of «Star Wars» every Friday.

Work on a third season of the series should have already begun, as the English-language website Var iety reports.

The Mandalorian can fend off an attack by a bounty hunter, but his spaceship is badly damaged, so that he is forced to make an emergency landing on Tatooine, one of the most famous planets in the «Star Wars» universe.

After arriving at Mos Eisley, however, he first has to find the money for the expensive repair. In the cantina there, he was promptly offered a casual job by Toro Calican (Jake Cannavalea).

Anyone who has a déjà vu at the bar is absolutely right: It’s the same location where Han Solo, who was also in financial difficulties at the time, had his first encounter with Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The vast sand dunes of Tatooine are best explored on a speederbike. However, one should avoid the Tusken robbers, also called sand people. They mostly cause trouble. Tip: If you should meet the bandits with protective goggles and breathing masks, it is best to voluntarily hand over an object of value.

The Jawas (see Arvala 7) are also at home on Tatooine. Of course, they too can be appeased with valuables, provided the Tusken have left something.

The fauna on Tatooine includes the banthas, huge, furry mammals with spiral-shaped horns, which are often used as riding and pack animals. Don’t worry, if you leave them alone they are no danger. They are pure herbivores. Every now and then you can see herds living in the wild.

Sights on the planet include Jabba’s Palace at the very edge of the Sea of ​​Dunes, as well as the Great Pit of Carkoon, which is home to the Sarlacc, a voracious creature that lives underground. The latter should be viewed with great care, because if you fall into the pit, the Sarlaccss’s gripping arms quickly pull you into your mouth.

A highlight not to be missed on Tatooine is the sunset. Because here two suns, Tatoo I and Tatoo II, ensure a beautiful, red sky spectacle, as Luke Skywalker experienced in his younger years before he finally got wanderlust.

It will be very exciting to see where the Mandalorian and the child are going in the second season, which enemies they have to face and where they can find new allies.
