Storyline:

The animals of Africa are overjoyed when the lion cub Simba (voiced by JD McCrary) the future king of the savannah is born. As the son of Mufasa (James Earl Jones) this is one that is the rightful throne. But Mufasa’s brother Scar (Chiwetel Ejiofor) raises his claim and surreptitiously him to treacherous manner, after Simba is banished into exile and to leave his girlfriend Nala (Beyoncé Knowles-Carter). With the lively meerkat Timon (Billy Eichner) and the cheerful Warthog Pumbaa (Seth Rogen), Simba finds new friends and companions who help him to grow up carefree despite the difficult time. But his past does not let him go and as a young lionman, Simba (now spoken by Donald Glover) realizes that he must return to the steppes and fight Scar to regain his rightful place on the throne.

Disney has managed in recent years to modernize beloved classics successful and to let in a new light. With «The Lion King» one of the greatest animated films of all time gets a makeover in 2019 now donated. As «The Lion King» in 1994 was released, success was hard to stop. The original played not only 968.5 million US dollars, the wonderful soundtrack by Hans Zimmer with songs by Elton John and Tim Rice also won two Oscars.
