Storyline:

The Swamp Thing series is based on comics from the DC world. The main character of production is Abby Arcane, who returns to the family home in Louisiana, to analyze the deadly virus swamp. There, he establishes a romantic relationship with his colleague, Aleek Holland, who one day dies in tragic circumstances. Abby discovers that the mysterious forces have their own plans for the swamp. It turns out that her potential love has not died, because Holland has become a swamp monster.

Early 1970 DC Comics published the first stories with the vegetable hero named «Swamp Thing». In it, the biologist Alec Holland mutated by a failed experiment to the monster and lived from then on in the marshes. In 1982, horror director Wes Craven filmed the comic and in the early 1990s followed a TV series.
